Steven is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, where he earned a degree in Culinary Arts Management. He began his career in hospitality, working with private clients in communities across California, Connecticut, New York, and Florida. His work in catering and household service gave him an early understanding of the discretion, attention to detail, and personalized care that families value most.

He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Arizona. That background, combined with years in technology and client relations, shaped his approach to organization, professionalism, and building lasting relationships.

For seven years, Steven served as General Manager of Coastal Cleaning Services, a premium residential service company caring for homes throughout St. Johns and Duval Counties. He oversaw staff training, scheduling, quality standards, and client relationships, with a steady focus on confidentiality and the level of care private homes require. Over time, he saw that the families he served needed more than a single service. They needed trusted professionals in their homes, and guidance in finding them. That insight led him to build an agency devoted to connecting families with exceptional caregivers and household professionals.

Sunshine State Nanny Agency brings that vision together with his wife’s nearly 20-year career as a professional bilingual nanny and household manager. Together, they understand both sides of every placement: the family seeking the right professional, and the caregiver seeking the right household. That combined experience is the foundation of SSNA’s thoughtful, trust-based approach.
