Reach out through our Get Started page with some basic information about your family and what you're looking for. This is a no-pressure first step — just a way for us to get to know you and understand what kind of care you need before anything else happens.
We'll follow up promptly to schedule a conversation, answer your questions, and make sure we're the right fit for your family before you commit to anything.

Finding the right nanny isn't something that should feel rushed or transactional. Our process is designed to be straightforward for your family — while doing the thorough, behind-the-scenes work that ensures whoever walks through your door has already been carefully vetted and thoughtfully matched to your home.
STEP TWO
Enroll
Once you're ready to move forward, you'll complete a brief Family Intake Form and submit a one-time, non-refundable $500 enrollment fee. This is where your search officially begins.
The enrollment fee isn't a deposit — it covers the real work we do before a single candidate ever meets your family. We learn your household, your children's personalities, your schedule, your must-haves, and the qualities that matter most to you.

STEP THREE
We Match
This is where our experience does the heavy lifting. Using everything we've learned about your family, we hand-select candidates from our screened roster who we genuinely believe are a strong fit — not just on paper, but in practice.
Every candidate we present has already been background checked, reference verified, and interviewed by our team. We don't send you a pile of profiles and ask you to sort through them. We do the narrowing first, so the candidates you meet are already worth your time.
What to expect: We typically present your first matched candidates within 1–2 weeks of enrollment, depending on your specific requirements.
STEP FOUR
INTERVIEW
Meet your matched candidates personally. We coordinate all scheduling and are available throughout the interview process to answer questions, share our own impressions, and help you think through the decision.
There's no rush here. Take the time you need to find the person who genuinely feels right — for you, and for your children. Your instincts matter, and we're here to support them.
During interviews, we recommend exploring:
Childcare philosophy and daily routine approach
Experience with children of your kids' ages
Availability, flexibility, and schedule compatibility
How they handle discipline, conflict, and emergencies
Any specialty skills relevant to your family's needs
STEP FIVE
SHE STARTS
Once you've chosen your nanny, we finalize your Placement Work Agreement — a three-party document signed by you, your nanny, and Sunshine State Nanny Agency. It covers everything from duties and compensation to household expectations and confidentiality.
Your placement fee is due at this stage, and your nanny's start date is confirmed. Our team checks in with you for the first 30 days to make sure everything is going smoothly — and your 6-month placement warranty begins on day one.
